Action on nature is the next frontier for sustainability, as the world has to move beyond net zero to nature positive future. natcap is on a mission to accelerate the nature-positive transition by integrating nature intelligence into business decision-making. We support the world's leading companies to prioritise, measure and act on nature impacts, dependencies, risks and opportunities.

As regulatory and societal expectations extend beyond net zero, nature is increasingly recognised as the next frontier of sustainability. However, nature is a new and evolving field. Corporates are in need of expertise, and consultants lack access to the data and infrastructure to support them. Natcap works with both corporates and sustainability consultants to ensure they can respond to emerging requirements such as CSRD reporting on biodiversity and ecosystems, and TNFD voluntary reporting.

In a short period, we have grown to serve major organisations in the UK, Europe, East Asia, South America, and Australia. As a result, we are looking for an exceptional Delivery Manager to join our team. What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will work closely with our science and engineering teams to manage and deliver customer projects.

Much of what you do will rely on a strong consulting skillset: understanding customer needs, scoping projects, and advising corporates on the ‘so what’ of the nature intelligence we provide.

Importantly, you will be delivering these outputs alongside an evolving Product. As a result, your role will also involve identifying patterns across customers, informing the direction of the Product, and ensuring our insights speak to customer problems. 

You will be responsible for:

Customer delivery - 

• Scoping and writing proposals for prospective customers. 
• Managing customer relationships, and project managing outputs for those customers.
• Coordination of cross-functional teams to answer to project timelines.
• Lead customer facing project management calls, and provide recommendations to customers based on outputs

Output delivery - 

• Author and quality check outputs as required for the role - this will include recommendation slide decks, ensuring all data-related outputs (e.g., in csv format) are understandable to the customer, and methodologies are well articulated and transparent

Feedback to Product - 

• Identifying areas for efficiency improvement.
• Identifying areas where we can solve problems repeatably for customers

• Contribute to an inclusive, supportive and productive team environment

• Demonstrate an action-oriented mindset focused on presenting solutions not problems

What we need from you:

• Strong academic track record in a relevant field

• 4 + years of experience in consulting role without masters degree, or 3 + years experience with masters degree in relevant field

• Track record of successfully leading customer projects and delivering high quality outputs on time

• Track record of excellent customer communication, both leading customer facing calls and providing strategic recommendations

• Motivated by learning new concepts and a proven ability to do so quickly

• Motivated by working with customers to have a positive impact on nature

• Comfort with change and ability to thrive in early stage startup environment

• Kind person who creates a supportive and inclusive environment
